Virtual field trip to the Highlands of Papua New Guinea

 

This VFT was run in association with UNITEC in Schools in May 2001 and carried out by Monika Fry who flew to the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea to evaluate Water for Survival's Project 241 - a health and sanatation project in rural schools.

Students followed the trip with daily emails and photos from the field. They also send questions. This was backed up by curriculum-based, water-related materials on the website.
