Health education materials already used in different countries around the world include:

Three Pile Sorting Game Activity - consisting of a set of cards designed for the Indian subcontinent, showing good and bad hygiene practices.

Faecal Oral Contamination Activity - a set of illustrated, coloured cards showing possible sources of faecal transmission.

Health and Physical Education curriculum exemplar on Clean Hands on the TKI website. This is a level 1 exemplar with the achievement aim of Safety and Risk Management - Students can describe and demonstrate simple healthcare and safety procedures (1A3).

'Tippy Tap'

The original tippy tap was designed in Zimbabwe and made from a gourd. The one in the picture is made from a plastic bottle.

This is one method where people can wash their hands without having to touch the bottle.
