Nestled in the beautiful valley of Upper Hutt New Zealand is the 1,300 strong school named Upper Hutt College. Our class 9I is proud to say we belong in this community. 9I is the Year 9 accelerate class and we have nicknamed ourselves the 'nerd' class. We are hard-working, intelligent and heaps of fun to be around. Our class always has a laugh, no matter what class we're in and no matter what we're doing. It really makes our lessons totally awesome.
We've become pretty close friends this year after all of our birthdays, shared lunches, movies and just normal class discussions and projects. We've even devised a homework reminding system and a 9I Nerds of 2010 website! Sometimes we can be a bit of a handful but we're so awesome it should be illegal! To top off this great year, we would like to go on a field trip somewhere, so hopefully one of our teachers, or all of them, would let us!
We're very excited to take on this new project for Oxfam's Water for
Survival Programme as we're sure our creative minds will produce brilliant ideas.
