OPV = Other People's Views

OPV is one of a collection of tools developed by Edward de Bono as part of his CoRT (Cognitive Research Trust) Thinking Programme.

Dr. Edward de Bono is widely regarded as the world's leading authority in the field of creative and conceptual thinking, and the direct teaching of thinking as a skill. He has authored 60 books translated into 35 languages on the topic of thinking.

Many thinking situations involve other people. What other people think is just as much part of the situation as the factors, the consequences and the objectives. These other people may have a very different viewpoint. Although they are in the same situation, they may look at things very differently.
